As part of the Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2) Reliability track, ATRI was a core team member in the development of the first multi-disciplinary National Traffic Incident Management Responder Training Program curriculum. The curriculum equips responders with a common set of core competencies to meet the TIM National Unified Goal objectives when responding to traffic incidents:
- Responder safety
- Safe, quick clearance
- Prompt, reliable and interoperable communications
